On September 13, 2016, at 14:00, we have a lecture by Klim Ivanovich Churyumov, who will talk about the results of the Rosetta mission to the comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko, discovered in 1969 at Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute.
On July 20, at 11:30, we have a seminar by Bekdaulet Shukirgaliyev, where he will report on the progress of his PhD thesis at Astronomisches Rechen-Institute (Heidelberg). The seminar title is "Improving The Survival Likelihood Of Star Clusters After Instantaneous Gas Expulsion".
On May 27, at 11:00, we have a seminar by Dr. Nasridin Minikulov from the Astrophysical Institute (Dushanbe). He will talk about the photometry and polarimetry of UX Ori-type stars, and about the monitoring of space debris at Sanglok Observatory.
On May 18, at 15:00, we have a seminar by colleagues from Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory Areg Mickaelian and Elena Nikogossian. They will share results of their research in galactic and extragalactic astronomy, and speak about the IAU regional center in Armenia and about Armenian Virtual Observatory.
